The Meeting

Today, we had our first meeting with the DePaul professors and everyone was excited and nervous (me too). We were told to keep a journal, and this is just a draft, as I'm thinking I'll need to type everything and maybe mail it or type it into a Word file.

The key word for this entry is Expectations. What do the Prepa teachers expect to learn? Someone asked me a week ago or so if he was going to be able to speak English fluently by the time the course was over! I looked at him with an "are you for real"-expression. I thought he was joking!

I'm really scared. The meeting was in English and I think some teachers couldn't understand everything was said. I mean, they nodded and smiled, but I'm not so sure they understood what the dynamics are going to be like.
